I've certainly thought about that, but I've been hesitant to because of issues with iOS 11. And since it's been out less than 2 months it seems unlikely to already have features that would be dependent on it.

FIR on Apple

I just switched from Android to Apple and am having issues with the FIR app. The main issue is there are no options to select in the Issue Type field, so I can't actually submit anything. It also is slow to respond and freezes sometimes. Anyone else having problems? I have an iPhone 7 with iOS 10.3.3.

Re: Maraki and Cisco AP integration issues.

As a former CHQ employee I can say that in general the meetinghouse technology group recommends the right solution but the facilities budget doesn't allow it.

Re: Maraki and Cisco AP integration issues.

I reported this issue a couple months ago when we first set it up and my HQ contact didn't seem aware of it. So I used an extra 1041 we had from another building instead of the MR33 that came with the new firewall. But this week my FM said I absolutely had to install the Meraki. So I talked to anoth...

Re: Getting Ethernet to pulpit for receiving broadcast

Our facilities group added Ethernet to the pulpit in one building but told me they couldn't do it in another building. We have a new group so I may ask, but otherwise this might be a good solution; we do have an extra unused coax line, although I'm not sure if it goes through a splitter. Otherwise I...

Re: Windows Store App

Did a little more testing but still no success. I set up a new account which should have included all the default apps as delivered, and it still won't launch. This time it popped up an error saying it is specifically blocked. I never tried to launch it on any of the computers before removing it. Ca...

Re: Windows Store App

I wouldn't recommend uninstalling the Windows Store. The Windows Store app is nothing more than a specialized web browser, so there's no reason to remove it. Yeah, I guess I didn't need to, but I didn't want them installing any unapproved software. I wonder why it's so difficult to reinstall, or wh...

Re: Windows Store App

Disabling the store completely will also take out the Edge browser. I don't think printing is affected, the old printer settings is still in control panel and you can add or delete drivers that way (I find the Windows 10 default printer menu to be one of the least helpful items that was updated). H...
