Re: Computer Startup Time

Thanks, good points. I'm assuming they are all set to sleep but will check.

Re: Computer Startup Time

In older versions of Windows it didn't seem like they would actually wake to perform any tasks, but if they do now then that would be ideal. I'll check with other units and see if they are leaving them on. Thanks.

Computer Startup Time

Last week I needed to quickly print something but the computer was off. It took 45 minutes before I was able to print it, and even then it was still mostly unresponsive. The culprit appeared to be Sophos, although there were probably other things like checking for updates. I asked the clerk and he s...

Latest Issues

I experience the choppy scrolling issue today, and it appears I'm not alone; I've reported it via the feedback. Stake and HQ Accounts

For the 3rd time I've run across a clerk computer that no longer has the HQ account nor the stake account I set up. They always claim not to have done anything. Is this something an update could have done or would the ward have had to manually delete them?

Screensaver lock

When I set up the machines for my stake they all had the screensaver lock screen enabled. Now I see they don't. Is this something wards would have turned off themselves or something the standard updates would have done?

Re: Problem Printing Financial Statement

Some of these were just single page IROPs. But the progress bar showed it was trying to generate 67M, which seems really weird. And it would get into the 50s, then suddenly go back to the 30s. We have really poor internet in that building, but we tried when no one else was on the network and it didn...
