Does anyone know anything new about Facilities Issue Reporting? In my stake, as the Stake Executive Secretary, I am responsible for all building keys. In working with the FM group, they have asked that I use F.I.R. for key and other building-related issues, but that option is not enabled under my login. I am correctly listed in MLS. My counterpart, the stake clerk, DOES have the F.I.R. option. Can this be adjusted so that I may use it as well?

Just don't love it. The color-coded style, while somewhat overwhelming was quick and made sense. Now, there are way too many layers to delve into in order to find content. For example, to find Gospel Doctrine manual lessons, the previous site only involved maybe two steps. Now, I must go to "Resources," then "Magazine and Manuals," then "All Manuals," then "Sunday School," and then finally to the Book of Mormon teacher's manual. Way way WAY too many steps to get places. Overall, I feel like this is a step down. The previous site was ambitious and good, but this is a regression in terms of logic and style.

I'm not sure why y'all hid the Tools list. I thought it was a glitch and was waiting for the "Tools" link to come back on the home page as before. It makes no since to me that no notification was given to anyone that Leadership Resources was now hidden under your login name. Trying to activate Temple Recommends yesterday but couldn't find the application link. Fortunately, I had the link saved separately in my favorites so I was able to get them activated. I stumbled upon Tools quite by accident last night.

Upon login, the Sign in drop down seems to have a relative link for "Tools for my calling." This link died on me. The url that displayed was "tools/?lang=eng" I simply added the www.lds.org/ in front of it and it worked just fine. Using Firefox...current version

The Tools for my Calling issue is on our list. We appreciate the difficulties that have come up as a result of the new header. We would naturally have loved for it to be much smoother, but that apparently wasn't in the cards. We know there are a number of issues like links breaking, not going where expected, sign in not working, etc, etc. We have a long list of things we are still working through. Please don't take our lack of individual response to mean that we aren't hearing you. We are working through things as fast as we can, and hopefully things will start to stabilize soon. Please be patient with us as we get through our list of issues. LDS.org is a very large and complicated site. There are lots of things for us to work through and we are working as fast as we can. Thank you for your support. Bringing up issues/complaints at least let us know that you care :)

Federico, thanks for your feedback about the new LDS.org navigation. I don't have much insight about the color coding and icons, since I'm a technical writer rather than a designer. Some members of the web team monitor this thread, however, so your voice will be heard.

Danny, thanks for the feedback about the login quirks. The team is still resolving some of these issues, so hopefully they should go away within the coming weeks. Re the Classic Stake and Ward Website link, I believe that link will eventually fade away, though I'm not actually sure when. All the tools that were available in stake and ward websites have been fully replaced (now that Newsletter and Lesson Schedules has been released).
