The next LDSTech broadcast, scheduled for Friday, October 5, at 12:00pm MDT, will focus on the Record-Keeping and Technology Support site on LDS.org.
This new Record-Keeping and Technology Support site will give priesthood leaders and clerks a centralized location to access training and support for the following topics:
- Finance (including Financial Auditing)
- Meetinghouse Technology
This LDSTech broadcast provides an opportunity for you to learn more about this new site and how it can help you get training and support.
To view the Record-Keeping and Technology Support site, go to clerksupport.lds.org.
Note that although the site is live, there's still a lot of content being added to the site. Most likely the content rollout will be complete around the beginning of November. What you see currently on the site is only part of the content.
One advantage to this new Record-Keeping and Technology Support site is role-based access of content. For the most part, content for stake technology specialists is all public. However, all membership and finance content, including information on auditing, will require you to sign in and have one of the following callings:
- Stake, District and Mission Presidency
- Bishopric and Branch Presidency
- Stake, District and Mission Clerks and Executive Secretary
- Ward and Branch Clerk and Executive Secretary
- Technology Specialist
- Stake and District Auditor and Audit Committee
Translation of the content is currently in process. When finished, the content will available in nine additional languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. The complete translation of the content will most likely be complete by the end of the year.
The site offers a number of additional features. You can browse an index, search for keywords, leave comments on articles and provide other feedback, as well as download or print articles.
The broadcast on Friday will provide a hands-on overview and demonstration of the site, with opportunities for questions and answers as the presenters show various aspects of the site.
You can attend the broadcast either online or in person at the Riverton Office Building. Justin Krebs, a product manager in Member and Statistical Records, and Ben Hutchins, a meetinghouse technology manager in ICS, will give the broadcast.
