The next LDSTech broadcast, “Gospel Study Using Mobile Devices,” will be held Friday, May 4, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm MST. The broadcast will be presented by David Weiss, project manager for the Gospel Library app.
How to attend
You can attend the broadcast by clicking the Watch Now button below or on the LDSTech Broadcast page during the time of the broadcast. If you live or work near Riverton, Utah, you can also come to the Riverton Office Building (ground floor, Zion room) to watch the broadcast in person.
If you can’t make the broadcast, you can rewind the broadcast controls and re-play the presentation at a later date.
Gospel Library is the primary mobile app used to study the scriptures, general conference addresses, Church magazines, and other gospel content. Some of the points David will cover during the presentation include the following:
- Availability of the Gospel Library app on mobile devices
- Downloading and managing Gospel Library content
- Highlighting and annotating passages
- Using media playback to watch or listen to content
- Integration with My Study Notebook
- Toggling between multiple windows to compare content
- Preparing lessons on your mobile device
- An approach to Gospel Study
Are you interested in getting involved in the Gospel Library project? The project currently needs people to test the Gospel Library app in other languages. If you speak another language and can help, consider joining the project.
To join a Gospel Library project, click Projects on the top menu of LDSTech, and then click the Projects submenu. Navigate to the Gospel Library project for the platform you want to work with (Android, BlackBerry, iOS, iPhone, or feature phones), and then click Join.
