The Friend Magazine has updated its website and released it at friend.lds.org. The new site aggregates several resources for parents and teachers to help them teach the gospel to children. Some of these resources include ASL Primary Song videos, Children's Lesson Helps, Games and Activities and more. Magazine articles from 1971 until present are also available on the site, with complete PDFs of the magazine starting from 2001.

That site is great! Thank you so much.

I noticed the games on there use flash, so they don't work on the iPad. :(

I am excited all the children's videos now work on the iPad! Thank you!

Mike, thanks for the note. Re flash, I'm sure the designers are aware of the limitations this poses on the iPad. The Bible Videos app (for the iPad) has a lot of game-like/exploratory aspects to it. Have you checked it out?

Yes, the Bible Videos app is great. So is The Coat story book app. The kids love the interactive stuff.

One other thing we do a lot on the iPad is watch the Scripture Story videos. It's a great compliment to family scripture reading with one kids.

Tom, I have just bought an iPAD and I am loving it. I will like to know how to get to the primary games you mentioned and dwnld them to my iPAD. tnks

The game-like/exploratory stuff Tom mentioned is in the Bible Vidoes app. It's a fantastic app. Along with all the great videos, there and maps and some interactive elements about Jerusalem.

But in Russian version I can see some problems. Maybe it's connected with temporal server issues, who knows... For example, in the page there is another tag. Some scripts didn't work well.
